FIRST FOAL OF 1907 IN KENTUCKY. The first thoroughbred foal of 1!ยป07 reported is a bay lilly. by the young Hnglish stallion, Carlton Grange, out at Nihil, by Hindoo, and she out of Franeesni. by Leamington. The little miss was fraled at James K. Clays Marehmont Farm in Bourbon County. Ky., last Friday night. She is a half sister to Nihilist. Mr. Clay bought Nihil for f.VHl at the dispersal sale of the late William C. Whitneys mares in lfKKJ.
