GENERAL GREEN TO VISIT OAKLAWN. Will Make Report to Governor Moore as to Bettinq on the Races. Fit lie Bach. Ark.. March IS.— After a conference with several of the members of the legislature this morning, ailing Governor Moore agreed to send General Green, commander in chief of the state militia, to Hot Springs to make an investigation of conditions there as to alleged violations of the Amis law. The mission of the head of the miliiia will bo to leak over the siluation and make a report to the acting Governor, if the conditions seem to warrant sending out the state troops, that will be Ihe next move against he Oahhtwa track. General Green departed for Hot Springs on a late train. Hot Springs. Ark.. March FT- Bookmaker Frank Henry, charged with having violated the Amis law i y accenting bets at OnkJnwn, was tried this nan ing in Justice- Smiths Court. He was found guilty and fined . He at ear* appealed the ease.
