GARTH SELLS KITTY SMITH. Washington. D. C April 11. William Garth has sold the tare-year old brown filly Kitty Smith, by .lack Point— Miss Kingston, to W. L. Maiipiu. The filly has raced four times at Benning, but has shown nothing sensational. Mr. Garth believes the tilly was started a bit too soon, and that a years real will do her enough good lo return to the races a lairly good three-year-old. She has plenty of speed. but is not capable of a sustained effort.
