PUZZLES FOR THE PIMLICO PUBLIC. Ormondes Right and Ivanhoe Furnish Two Reversals that Set Em Guessing. Baltimore. Md., April 29.— The pnbli. got a few shocks at Pimlico this afternoon and weut home in a dazed condition. The Kciinci l Handicap, to nearly everyones surprise, was won by Ormondes Right, which came with his add time rush and made the others look cheap. Kl Dorado was giving away weight to everything in the race and fourteen pounds to the winner, but for all that was, made the fa. or ite. The Smithsou oil ran a splendid race. He made the pace red hot from the staat with Oraziallo and, running the latter into defeat, turned into the stretch iu the lead. He could not. however, withstand the tush of Ormondes Bight and had to be contented with second place. Ormondes Bights sudden flip flap caused much tulk. Wednesday last he was beaten handily by that cheap plater Ivanhoe at a mile and forty yards at even weights. Today be comes out and simply runs away from the heat aaraea at the track. What makes the matter still more mixed is the fact that Ivanhoe ran today iu cheap company and was just a tile to get third money. Laudable too, turned quite a form somersault. Saturday he won handily, beating Etta Louise, one of the best two-yat-olds at the track. Today he was unable to finish in the money, quitting utterly in the stretch. Diamond also gave the students of form a shiver. Friday he had Preen straight in lliki, today, a 1 to 3 favorite, he showed little speed and was beaten off by S.rarfelL WilU Kara out of the jumping race it looked like a good thing for Bound Brook and he was made faworlte.
