MORALES WINS FROM LADY SAVOY. Gerst Mare Meets with Interference— Lexington* Owners Win Three Races. I-xington. Ky.. April 20. — Local owners were again in evidence at the Kentucky Association course this alteruoon. The lirst three races were won by horses owned by Lexington turfmen. In the opening race, which was for tw o year olds. Clay Brother* furnished the winner in the Star Shoot colt. Nimbus, which scored easily after making ino-t of the pace. The second raw went to Topsy Robin son. from the ■tabic of Dot* Brothers. Topsy Robinson* showed a tine turn of speed, winning easily after forcing Field Lark to set a ierritic pace in the early running. One of the disappointments of the afternoon was the defeat of Lady Savoy in the feature race, a seven-fm long splint, in which William Cersts mare was thought to out. lass the others. She ran a smart race despiie her defeat and with a better ride would undoubledly have beaten the winner. Morales. Jockey Taylor was unfortunate in meeting with a lot of interference. His mount was sharply cut off on the backstretch and on the far turn, where he attempted to go through on the hartdc, again met wilh interference. Hollow was beaten in a race he should have won. wheu Ida May led him home a length in the third race. Directly after the barrier was spuing Hollow was jumped on and Austin pulled up. When settled in his stride Hollow came on fa ,l and finished like a good colt. The Sllradiarc was again large and the new as sociatiou is much flattered at the eat took. Every indication points to the meeting being a great sue ess and already the announcement is made that a fall meeting will be given provided dates are granted by the State Racing Commission. Ovelando. Maitin Doyles Kentucky Derby candidate, was shipped to Churchill Downs this afternoon. An effort was made to secure jockey Nicol to ride him in the big race on Monday next. Zal. William Cersts candidate, will be shipped to Louisville tomorrow. Jockey Lee was fined 5 by the starter for breaking up a couple of starts in the third race. J. Butler was cautioned hy the judges for rough riding. A very interesting card is offered for tomorrow, and with Ancient. Ada O. Walker, Cousin Frances: Dainty Dame, Fantastic, Lady Arion; Heine, La Sorciere, Braden: John L. Inglis. Zal, High Bear: R. C. Rant. Great Pirate. Insurgent; Beatrice K..
