BROOKLYNS STAKES FOR THIS WEEK. The first spring meeting of the Brooklyn Jockey Club covers but the six racing days of the present week. Racing will then be resumed at Belmont Park, to be followed iu turn by the second spring meeting of the Brooklyn Jockey Club, which begins Thursday. June . In the course of the present week nine stakes will be run off. Of these the Expectation Stakes for Iwo-year-olds and the highly important Brooklyn Handicap will be decided tomorrow, the names of the probable starters l cing published elsewhere in this edition.
