Pelle of Jessamine, outrun for the first half, came through next to the inside rail when entering the homestretch and finished fast. Crestfallen finished well and outgamed Atliy Van when it came to the Baa] drive. The latter was much used in following La Gloria and tired iu the last quarter. Nellie Racine raa well.
