LEADING ENGLISH RIDERS. Danny Maher and Lucien Lyne are the only American jockeys of account riding in England this year. Possibly because they are too heavy for regular competition with the lightweights, they do not rank as high in the standing sis their admirers on this side of tlie water would like. Up to June 24 Maher had eighteen per cent winners and Lyne lifteen per cent, Maher ranking liftli jn the list and Lyne seventeenth.
