The best among them will be formidable at Saratoga - and many of the medium class ones will be 2 kept for the racing at Youkers. Tokalon will not do. She needs a long rest. The mare is none too sturdy. She works sourly and 1 races worse. First Premium, in the Fuller stable, , is as good as new again. His race in the Brighton getting off as he did was a pretty good one. Hildreth has in Guiding Star one that will surprise - the talent as Kapld Water surprised It Saturday. - Guiding Star is near to his best edge. Had 1 Bapid Water beaten Suffrage who was lucky - Hildreth would have taken 0,000 out of the e Brighton ring. Though Beacon Light did not go in the Brighton Handicap, he i3 good and ready and lias a chance with any horse in the mud and most any horse over good going. Martin Doyle did not run his race In the Brighton. He was off In a tangle and never got through the front line. The pace was awful loo keen for him. Cottontown is in fine shape just now and will he heard from at Saratoga. The Bashford Manor lot have got nothing, so far. Sir Huou, Arcite, Altuda, Sir Cleges and Boema are the best of them. The latter, a handsome filly by Alvescot Espanola, has gone once and ran a good race. She will pay for remembrance. Altuda is now working sweetly at Sheepshead. Arcite is ready. Sir Htion, after a let up, is galloping again and has all his speed on call. Brancas and Lady Savoy, In Will McDanlels lot, look and work well and will soon be In action. John Marrs work at Sheepshead is almost as Impressive In speed and more Impressive in action than Chapultepees. Temaceo, In Durnells lot, Is thoroughly fit and Von Tromp Is far better thau his recent racing 1 which Isnt much.
