Reaction was on the inside next to the rail all the way and ran well throughout. Consideration showed speed, but tired. Murimbo closed a big gap. The winner was entered for ?000; 110 bid. Edna Motter ran the best race of all, broke slowly and was crowded back, was then tuken to the outside and kept there and, in a fast finish, almost got up for second place. Fantasia ran well. Hunted went away in the lead, stood off a challenge from Frank Collins in the first half and, in a long drive, outstayed Bathmaria. The latter broke slowly and was much used in getting to the leaders, hut ran a good race and finished gamely. Frank Collins ran on the inside all the way and saved ground on wry turn. Showman finished with a belated rush and would have won in a few more strides. Nettie 1,arita ran well and finished close up. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 7009! Western. The hitter met with interference on the turn out of the backstretch and was cut off, but ran a fast, game race. Ketcheniike was as good as laft at the post, but closed a big gap and finished fast.
