Sadie Gay ran well and outstayed Miss Cesarion under punishment. Tin; latter showed superior early speed, but was rushed too much and tired at the end. Dorasette fniislicd with ti .rush and woiild have been s-econd in another stride or two. Dulcinea showed speed. The Belle was as good as left at the post and closed a big gap. Giovanni Haggle showed the most early speed, hut tired in the last quarter. Sir Cyril closed a big gap. Orlandot can do belter. Bayou Lark quit. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. The latter got into closest pursuit early and challenged gamely in the final furlong, hut could not quite get up. Gold Note was interfered with on the first turn and lost ground by a wide turn into the homestretch, but esune very fast through the stretcii and would have won in another stride. Deuigre ran well. The latter broke slowly, but made up much ground on the turns and linished fast and wearing the winner down. Linda Lake ran well and outgamed Etta Louise in the final drive. The latter followed the winner closely to the stretch and tired in the final furlong. Lady Baldur was very sore when going to the post. Roos quit badly. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
