Colloquy, a very fast filly, and evidently at her best, had" little trouble in taking the first race from Frontenac, but Goldproot finished a sorry last. Shirley Rossmore simply ran away from her opponents In the second race, in which Pat Dunnes Mackerel put up an unexpectedly poor performance. Lady Carol repeated her recent Lexington success, mid scored easily from Miss Strome in the third. The latter ran an excellent race and is to be reckoned with hereafter. Pinkola won the fifth race in a canter, and Ouardi confirmed his recent Kood form by easily disposing of Scalplock in the final contest of the day.
