Jane Swift, away poorly, closed a big gap in a cyclonic stretch rush. Dareington broke slowly and met with repeated interference in the early running, loomed up when rounding into the stretch awl tired in the last stride. Marian Casey was never dangerous, but finished well up. St. Avon, after forward contention for half the journey, tired. Creation, away very badly, is not ready. Scratched CS431 Adena, 111. Serenity, shuffled to the rear and a hopeless trailer for tlie first half, closed an immense gap at the end. Nine Spot was prominent throughout and is best in mud. Lazell, away poorly, had a rough journey, was repeatedly interfered with and finished well. Iras was well up all the way and is extra good. Isabelita finislied close up. Gene Russell, sluggish and outpaced early, made a cyclonic finish and is in grand form, but wants a longer route and vigorous rider. Judge Nelson, away poorly, closed a big gap.
