RARE OLD PEG WOFFINGTON. T. C. .McDowell is the owner of a yearling colt and a weanling eolt from Peg Woflington, dam of David Garrick, Intruder, Bracegirdle, Kitty Cllve and Pegasus. The yearling is by Allan-a-Dale and the weanling by Star Ruby. Peg Woflington is now twenty-two years old, and her record is hard to duplicate. She is still a wonderfully preserved mare and looks like she will be a breeder for several years to come. Her dam, Ballet, was a remarkable example of longevity among thoroughbred mares, living until she was tblrty-ohe years old.
