AVon easily; second driving; third the same. Cuernavaca, away fast and showing the most speed, led all the way and won with plenty in reserve. La Souer, also favored at the start, followed the winner close up and held on gamely in the final drive. Sylvia G. came from a long way hack in the stretch and ran in much improved form. Sweetener ran well, hut tired in the stretch run. Major Alack, poorly ridden, ran fairly well and would have been much closer up with a stronger rider. Benrose hart scant chance with a poor send-off. Tim Kelly showed speed, hut quit badly in the. last furlong. Knighthead tired in the last furlong. The others were practically left. Scratched G9S403 Royal Chance, 10S: 719S2 Piuk Cap, 100. Lucy Young ran as if best, was away forwardly and. taking the lead at once, was never seriously menaced, winning in a canter. Dr. McCluer began slowly, but closed a big gap in the stretch and finished with a rush. No Trumper put up a good performance and outgamed Dapple Gold in the final furlong. Dapple Sold showed improvement and was gaining fast at the end. Grace George moved up fast in the hrst half, but tired in the last quarter. Araho had no mishaps. The others were always outpaced. Senator Paynter ran fairly well and was gaining in the last furlong. Florence N. was away too poorly to be a serious factor in the running. Free Booter was a forward contender for a half only and pulled up lame. Tinker broke fast, but was shuffled back quickly and badly outpaced early, but came fast aiid resolutely in the stretch and is better over a longer distance, litis ted tired. Won easily; second driving; third the same. .Atortiboy, reserved in the early stages, moved up to Coltness witli a rush after rounding the stretch turn and, after a slight shaking up, drew clear and won going away. Ace High acted badly at the post and ! was much used by an assistant starter, was badly outpaced for the first half, but gained gradually and got up to outstay Coltness for second place in the closing strides. Coltness showed superior speed for the first three-quarters, but tired in the stretch run. Coon had no mishaps. Prince Fortunatus was prominent for a half and tired badly. Vincentio, poorly ridden, closed a big gap gradually and finished gamely. St. Noel tired after going a good three-quarters. 3 Fonsoluca tired as if short and will Improve. Docile ran a had race.
