BENNETT RETAINS SOME BROODMARES Lexington, Ky., December 9. George C. Bennett, who announced his retirement as a breeder of thoroughbreds last fall, lias withdrawn that announcement to the extent that he will be obliged to carry some twenty marcs at RIdgcway Stud. He has about decided to convert the farm into a dairy and will embark in the .new enterprise in the spring. Xo stallion is now standing at RIdgeway, and tlie mares there will be bred to outside stallions next spring.
