BRIGHTON BEACH STAKES. The Brighton Beach Racing Association proffers owners its usual big list of rich stakes, . annually duo at this time, and which, like those of the Coney Island Jockey Club and Brooklyn Jockey Club, close for entries January 2. They are all old established favorites and are as follows: For Three-Year-Olds and Over, Brighton Handicap, 5,000 guaranteed; one mile and a quarter. Invincible Handicap, ,500 added; one mile and a quarter. Brighton Mile Stakes, ,000 added; one mile. Test Handicap, ,000 added; one mile. Islip Handicap, ,000 added; one and one-eighth miles. Jamaica Stakes, ,500 added; three-quarters of a mile. Nautilus Stakes, ,500 added; one and one-sixteenth miles. For Three-Year-Olds. Seagate Stakes, ,500 added; one and one-eighth miles. Glen Cove Handicap, ,000 added; three-quarters of a mile. For Two-Year-Olds. Montauk Stakes, ,000 added; three-quarters of a mile. Winged Foot Handicap, ,000 added; three-quarters of a mile. Distaff Stakes, fillies, ,500 added; five-eighths of a mile. Atlantic Stakes, ,500 added; three-quarters of a mile. Steeplechases. Brighton, ,000 added; about two and one-half miles. - Punchestown, ,500 added; alxnit 2 miles. Curragh, ,500 added; about 2 miles. All of the stakes named are to be run at the clubs mid-summer meeting and besides these are two which will be run off at the autumn meeting.
