THE TROUBLE WITH DAVY JOHNSON. The periodical story comes from New York that Davy Johnson, the great plunger and owner of Roseben, is again "broke." His financial condition is charged to the race tracks. As a matter of fact Johnson has floundered to the shore many times through his turf success and would be occasionally short of funds if he kept a store. He is an intemperate chance taker.
