Stanley Fay was outpaced for the first half and swung wide when turning for home, but came 011 fast in the stretch and, JTnjshijig gamely, won drawing away. Colonel Bob set a sharp pace, but tired suddenly in the final sixteenth and just lasted long enough to save second place. Niblick came through with a rush in the center of the track near the end. La Londe ran well and, in a long stretch drive, tired only in the last ten yards and Is ready. Sir Edward ran a good race, but tired and can do better. Scratched 72245 Daruma, 120. Victorene Hannon ran well and hung on gamely under punishment. Supine closed a gap and tired in the final sixteenth. The Belle of Mayfalr followed the winner closely to the last furious, hut failed to stay. The others were outpaced all the way. The winner was entered, for 00; no bid. Golden Shore showed speed, but tired suddenly in the final sixteenth. Nellie Kacine, Norfolk and Christine A. ran well and finished close up. Optician pjiit after showing superior Miecd. Won easily: second and third driving. Kins man raced within easy striking distance of the pacemakers for the first six furlongs, then came through fast when turning for home and won in a cantor. Boguin was knocked back and had to go around when entering the final quarter and finished with a rush, nipping out Avontellus. The latter made up ground gradually in the last quarter and finished gamely. J. F. Donohue finished with a rush after trailing to the stretch. Elie went well and appears to be improving steadily. Needful ran well. Joyncr set the pace fast to the stretch, then quit badly. Taby Tosa showed unexpected speed. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 7215C Invictus. 09. Glenecho. raced well for seven furlongs and then tired. Arimo set a very fast pace to the stretch, but failed to stay the route. Edwin Gum ran a bad race.
