JOYNERS BAND OF YEARLINGS. New York, December 18. A. J. Joyner is training eighteen yearlings for next springs racing. In the band are four colts and two fillies owned by August Belmont, one by Perry Belmont, four fillies belonging to James R. Keene, while the other seven are owned by Joyner himself. The reputed best one In the stable Is St. Faisenay, the big chestnut colt August Belmont has named for most of the two-year-old stakes of next year. Of the other four which Joyner is- handling for Mr. Belmont, three have been named Practical, Goodheart, Bushey Top and Merry Gift. The full-sister to Fair Play is as yet unnamed. The only two-year-old which Perry Belmont will have to represent him in the juvenile races next seasonvis Fitz Herbert, a brown colt by Ethelbert Morganatic, and a full-brother to Lady Fitz Herbert, which has never started owning to going amiss in training last spring. The four Mr. Keene has placed with trainer Joyner are unnamed fillies two by Meddler, one by Voter and the other by Disguise. Joyner has found names for the four colts and two of the fillies he owns, the only one nnnamed being the chestnut filly by Watercress Victoria Cross.
