Start good. Won easily; second driving; third the Fame. Gee Whiz, off forwardly, dashed to the front on the far turn and, taking an easy lead when cnteriii" the homestretch, was well in hand through the last sixteenth. Sweetener broke slowly and was outrun for the first quarter, but came to the outside of the lenders on the home turn and outstayed Bitter Man in the final drive. Bitter Man, crowded back on the turn for home, closed up again under punishment Rural Boy closed an Immense gap and finished with a rush. Polar Star ran well, but tired. Banridge caught in a jam at the start and crowded back, met with repeated interference in the first quarter and - closed a big gap in the stretch run. Royal Chance finished close up. Sponge Cake, interfered with and crowded back at the start, worked his way up on the outside and finished witli a great stretch run., Glamor finished fast and wore down the tiring Artful Dodger in the last furlong.t The latter was speedy, lint failed to stay. Killochan met with much early interference. Renraw showed speed, but tired in the stretch. Airship quit badly. The winner was entered for 1907.sh00; no bid. The latter was messed about at the start and came fast after Entering the homestretch, but tired and was unable to Improve his position in the last furlong. Lens ran a good race. Ace High closed a gap. Plantlaud, on the inside, was sharply cut off soon after the start and was forced to be pulled up. Bell-.veiher stumbled at the half mile and unseated his rider. Charlie Eastman was going well at the end. Roj-al Onyx showed speed. The winner was entered for ,000; no bid. Agile was cut off when entering the homestretch, but came again and wore Grace Larsen down in the last furlong for third place. The latter showed superior early speed and set tlie pace to the stretch, then tired badly. Sister Polly, Footlights Favorite and Grenade showed speed, but failed to stay.
