One of the jockeys was Mario Ollva, the race being three times round the little, old-fashioned course. The Hag fell, the horses started and the second time thev passed the stand Oliva was a dead man, anchored straight in the deep hollowed saddle, rigid with a deatli rigor until the race was ended, and the horse turned to come back to scale.
