DEATH.! ARGENTINE JOCKEYS QUEER i Out of a letter from Buenos Ay res, W. P. Pond, ! of Sports of the Times, gets this story: "Inde-1 pendence Day,- the year before last, there was a meeting at Arias, near the Rosarlo Railway. One of the jockeys was Mario Ollva, the race being three times round the little, old-fashioned course. The Hag fell, the horses started and the second time thev passed the stand Oliva was a dead man, anchored straight in the deep hollowed saddle, rigid with a deatli rigor until the race was ended, and the horse turned to come back to scale. At the turn the corpse fell from the horses back to the ground." "
