Niblick, always well up, easily shook off Nellie Racine when an eighth out and held Sharp Boy safe through the final sixteenth under a weak ride. Sharp Boy stood a long stretcli drive gamely and finished last, but was not quite good enough. Bazil closed a gap and, under the whip, outstayed Nellie Racine in thf closing strides. The latter tired after setting and forcing the pace for five furlongs. Edna Felice threw E. Walker while at the post, causing a delay until Boyling was substituted. Creston ran well and, -in a long Mretch drive, outstayed Booger Red. The latter showed great speed and rare gameness under the whip. Royal Queen made up ground and finished with a rush. Money Muss, off flying, showed his usual high turn of speed, set the pace fast and stood the last sixteenth drive with unusual gameness and outstayed Scarfell. The latter made up ground and, in a long stretch drive, appeared to be closing on the winner in the final hundred yards, but faltered suddenly in the last few strides. Progress was always prominent and, in a long stretch drive, finished resolutely. Aunt Polly was speedy, but was done for when an eighth out. Succeed finished well. Mintia ran poorly. Kirk lield Belle, after a rough journey, got clear midway of the stretch and, finishing with a rush, would have been second in a few more strides. Airs finished fast and the race should improve her. Homeless raced forwardly throughout and stood the last eighth drive gamely. Nadzu, under a listless ride, ran far back until weil into the stretch, then finished fast on bis own courage. Lisbia closed a big gap from a bad start. Baraio showed the most early speed, but quit after turning for home. The winner was entered for 400; no bid. Scratched 723S9 Onoto Watana, 107.
