Creston Boy was in close quarters next to the rail in the final sixteenth and got through too late. Koeuigiu Luise finished fast. Slippery showed speed. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Del Crusados overhauled Inclement in the final sixteenth and responded gamely to punishment but, when seventy-five yards out, crossed in front of Inclement, palpably fouling him and was promptly disqualified. Inclement ran a good race, finished resolutely under the whip and would have been much closer up but lor the interference. Melton Cloth finished fast under punishment. Bell of Brass closed a gap and finished with a rush. Wm. V. Herron was knocked back. Silk Hose got off badly. Scratched— 73390 Edith Cue, 107; 73492 Pops, 110. Overweights— Wm. F. Sun Mark finished fast under the whip. Lonia was going well at the end. Rustling Silk set the pace for three-quarters, but failed to stay. The winner was entered for 5100: no bid. Chalfonte showed much the most speed almost throughout and stood the last eighth drive gamely, but was not good enough. I . C. Widrig ran well to the stretch, but tired badly in the last eighth. Baron Esher went well for seven furlongs and tired as if short. Overweights — Edwin T. Cotillion was outpaced for the first seven furlongs, but moved up fast when entering the last quarter, overhauled and easily passed Sainrida in the stretch and won going away. Sainrida showed much the most *j eed for a mile, hut tired when challenged by the winner. Lady Chiswell, in a long stretch drive, finished gamely. Esther B. made up ground gradually in the final quarter under punishment. Silver Sue went fairlv well. Rama showed speed, but tired. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
