SOME GOOD STEEPLECHASERS FOR SALE. N.w York. March 6. — Courtland II. Smith has advertised his stable of steeplechasers for sale in the paddock at Aqueduct April 15. He has leasetl his Virginia farm for a uiiuiIkt of years and will go to Arizona, where he will live on a ranch. The best horse which trainer Silas Veltch has at Belmont Park belonging to Mr. Smith is Sandy Civeker. winner of the Harbor Hill Steeplechase at Belmont Park hist fall and the Junior Steeplechase at Ben-nlng last November. Another promising jumper in the stable is Locked Out and both of them will be sold with the rest of the stable.
