I.illi;m Kay ran fairly well. Cunning closed a big gap. Sister Ollie was in a Jam most of the way. lady I.eota suffered much from crowding. Dispute got away on the outside and had scant chance. Miss ; Hap-lmrg was tripped by a dog running out on the track soon after the start and unseated her rider. Javotte also gained steadily and was going fast at the end. Dandy Dancer showed speed, but tired badly aud swerved in the last furlong. Consistent was prominent for the first half, hut tired in the closing drive. Kobin Hood finished well. Platoon quit after going a half and ran a bad race. Gilpin, also a forward contender throughout, made a good effort on the stretch turn and wore down Jack Witt in the last few strides for second place. Jack Witt ran his race and had no mishaps. Creel made up ground and finished fast. Flowaway gained steadily from a slow" beginning. Flavigny, badly outpaced for the first half, came fast at the finish. Pinsticker tired after setting the pace for three-quarters. Knight of Ivanhoe ran a bad race and can do much better. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
