Winter-green showed a high order of speed all the way anil won as his rider pleased. Be Brief was a forward contender throughout and stayed well in the final drive. Colonel Blue, shuttled back soon after the start, closed a big gap in the stretch anil finished gamely. Automatic was prominent most of the way. Sister Phyllis made up much ground. Dr. Laikley. away fast, sprinted into a long lead in the first quarter and. setting the pace fast, was eased up in Hie stretch and won in a canter. Home Run, away forwariily. was shuttled back soon after the start and saved to the stretch, then finished fast and gamely. Harriet Rowe stood the final furlong drive gamely and just lasted long enough to hold third place. Claiborne suffered from Interference and was forced wide for a half, but came fast in the stretch and would have been third in a few more strides. Almena was off poorly and closed a big gap.
