HOT SPRINGS COMMITTEE - FORMED. Hot Springs, Ark., November 17. The committee named by the Business Mens League to draft a bill to be presented to the legislature as a substitute for the Amis anti-racing bill, which will permit racing in this county under proper restrictions, was announced today, and is composed of J. L. Wadley, newspaper man; W. W. Waters, capitalist; Gus I Strauss, merchant: M. A. Elsele, druggist; George R. Belding, president Arkansas State Fair: W. G. Maurice, bath-house owner: C. H. Weaver, stationer; David Laser, art store, and S. H. Stltt. president Arlington Hotel company. Tljis committee will draft a bill providing for a spring and fall meeting, restricting the number of days racing shall be conducted.
