WILL TRY TO SAVE KENILWORTH. Buffalo, N. Y.. November 17. August Belmont, who holds a 5,000 mortgage on the Kenilworth. track here, came to Buffalo Saturday to discuss with the stockholders of the Buffalo Driving Association, which owns the track, the question of foreclosure. Suit to foreclose the mortgage for non-payment of Interest was begun last week. A conference was held between Mr. Belmont, John N. Hall, attorney for the Buffalo men interested In the track. H. Montgomery Gerrans, who is one of the stockholders, and others anxious to see the present ownership of the track continued. No definite action was announced, but, an effort will be made by the Driving Association to raise funds to carry the mortgage and retain the property.
