SEAGRAMS WEEDING-0UT SALE. Toronto. Ont. November 27. The Repository was decorated in the racing colors of the Waterloo stable and filled with an Interested crowd when the sale of the thoroughbred mares and horses In training from the establishment of J. E. Seagram opened Thanksgiving morning. ..., After an introduction by H. J. P. Good the business of the sale was taken up and carried briskly along by Charles A. Burns, the manager and auctioneer of the big Simcoe street mart. Good prices were obtained and everything offered was disposed of. Buyers were present from points as widely separated as Quebec and Vancouver and several bargains went to both these cities. Sir Montagu Allan, president of the Montreal Jockey Club, and Allan Boswell. yice-president of the Quebec Turf Club, secured some choice mares, bred to Havoc and Ypsilanti. whose progeny will in time be seen in the Quebec Kings Plate. . After the sale Mr. Seagram said: "I have aust had a telegram from my agent in Lexington that he has bought a number for me for as much as these here brought, and they are not one, whit better bred that what I have just disposed of, but I have to have infusions of new blood among my stock at home."
