Hereafter broke slowly, but drew out quickly and held sway to the iinal sixteenth, then finished boring out sharply. Nagazam, away badly, closed an immense gap. SL Francis had a poor start and lacked early speed, but held on steadily. Mattie Mack, shuffled back early, made up much ground. Bucolic ran prominently, but tired and was short. Tawasentha failed to stay and is in poor form. Rockstone was out of place. The winner, entered for 1908.sh00, was bid up to ,000 by E. J. Ramsey and bought in.
