Footloose, from a slow start, lost ground early and was badly messed about for the remainder of the journey, but just failed to get up in a great stretch rush under an inadequate finish. Fan-euil Hall, nearly left, closed an immense gap and finished like a shot. Semper Fidells ran in forward contention from the start and drew out and ied to the final sixteenth, but quit badly at the end. Who, away poorly, closed up steadily. Adrlana Lecouvreur is fast, but a pronounced non-stayer. Orlin Ormonde is also a quitter. Harry Rogers ran in early prominence, but quit.
