April i. — At the Nottingham spring milting today the principal race of the afternoon. the Newark Plate, for three year olds and upward, at ■ mile straight, was won bv Mr. F. S. Barnards seven year old bay gelding. Kallir Chief, by Uaebitrn In-iiiia. 124 pounds, with "Skeets" Martin up. Mr. Kirkwalls four year old bay colt.
