All Bars. Dulciau. Johnson Jay and another, at Cayuga, where tney wintered. W. K. Vanderhilts Pretisshno II. won the third race at St. cloud Monday. Silverstreak. also one of Mr. Yanderbilts horses, got a place in the last race. Galvesea. the Galveston — Princesca filly, over which the Ryan-— Tate party made such, a betting coup ■ few days ago. cost S. V. Tate 65 as a yearling. Steeplechase iockey E. Heider. who rode for J. W. Colt on the Canadian circuit last season, lias arrived nt Baltimore and will ride at the Pimlieo inciting as a free lance. It is now said to lie improbable that tlie present Arkansas racimg law will lie amended this spring. The new Garland County senator. H. Williams, is so far •agin It" in its present form. There is said to be a scarcity of good jockeys in Ilancc and nw tiers tind it a difficult task to secuu-competent ban for the aaaaaaa important engagements. If this is true. Dave Nicol should be in great demand. Secretary F. G. Randle of the Los Angeles Racing Assoiiation will probably tie treasurer for the Utah organizations forty-day meeting at Salt Lake City. Tlie betting will be without the slates, though tickets will be issued. Wi S. Fanshawe. a well-known eastern turfman, who did not race last year, will campaign a small stable this season over the metropolitan tracks. Mr. Ianshawe has turned over to Thomas Welsh live two year olds, till of his own breeding, to he trained at once. lanshawes Heno. a sterling racer of a lew years back, is the sire of these youngsters.
