HORSES GALLOPING AT TORONTO. Toronto. Ont.. April 22.— The horses at Woodbine had a drying track Wednesday morning and the going improved all day. Mr. R. J. Mackenzies Tou-renne cantered half a mile in 59 seconds, with King ston up. and hard held all the way. which tells the condition of the track. Waterbiidgc was trailing him. Tourenne. which earned ,900 for his owner last season, never looked better thau this spring. The Woodbine horses have come on encouragingly ami a short time will see them improving their paces considerably. Recent arrivals there are Mr. Keans Lviidhurst. Mr. Gormans Bathbrick ami Lady Gore and Mr. Crews Caper Sauce and Harry Graball. the latter a Kings Plate nomination. The schooling ground nu Scarboro Heights was also ju use. Nat Ray sent Al Powell. Ben Crockett. Byzantine and Braggadocio for preliminary work and Maurice Dono van had Frank Somers out.
