NOTES OF THETURF. Cello, which broke down in his last race at Oakland, will be shipped to Nevada to be used for breeding purposes. Final time in the third race at San Antonio Tuesday was incorrectly sent out as 1:28. Should have read 1:20. Owners, trainers and horses that participated in the outlaw meetiug at Dufferin Park. Harry McKenna passed through Chicago yesterday on his way to Baltimore to take in the limlico meeting. He was one of a big band of racing pilgrims from the coast, most of whom weie lionnd for the east, but some for Louisville. The Prix de Hollandais was run at Tremblay. Irauce, Wednesday, and won by Herman Duryea"s *tUU .ooie. W. K. Yanderbilt had Gangachata and Siisipii-haiiua in. respectively, the Prix Barbello and Hie Prix Sultan, but neither horse was placed. The Metropolitan Turf Association, known to the regular race-goer and horsemau of the east as the •-Mets, moved into its new quarters recently at 117 West Forty Aft h street. New York. This Is the new clubhouse of the "Mots," formerly occupied by the Optimists Club. The steeplechase riders. E. Stone and Rosteck. are at Windsor with trainer Al Bailer, who will have a strong crosscountry string this season. It is said that Bailer will traiu the horses that "Uncle George" Hendrie will race on the Canadian circuit and which wintered at Windsor. Michael Angelo. which will i.u ry tlie yellow and tartan jacket in the Kentucky Derby, is at Louisville in charge of John Walters.
