WILLIAM AST0R CHANLER COMES BACK. William Astor hauler, on- of the founders of the Jockey Club, made hi- re-entry on the turf at Iiiu lico Wednesday after an absence of several years. He ran the two-year old. Mystery, in the last race. Mr. ChanbT now resides a his four hundred acre farm at Leesburg. V.i.. owns twenty-thre e brood-mares mid the stallion. Olyiniiian. once owned by .lame- EL, Keene. and one of the only two living son-of the dead Domino. Last tall Mr. Chiinler sent eight nines, among them a sister to Domino, to W. K. Vanderbills stud farm, at Vlllebon, France, all ill foal, and to be bred to Mr. Vanderbills famous bome, Maintenon. The produce of the mares which â– are been foaled this year in France will lie eliaibie to ill the laces of that country. The mares will be brought back to this country within the next few months. Olympian was a two year-old the same ica. that Commando was on the turf and was raced in England bv Mr. Kecac in I88L He is a grand looking horse.
