The Brooklyn Handicap, one of Americas greatest handicaps, has a ,000 value. The Parkway. Brookdale. Treniout. Broadway and Great American are guaranteed at ,500 each. All of the other stakes have added money of ,000 or less, the steeplechase stakes calling for but or 00 in added money. Further than the indorsement of the association of owners ami breeders to guarantee the Brooklyn Jockey Club against loss on eleven stakes, no comment is made on the situation iij the pamphlet.
