They will return east in ample time for the opening of the Empire City track. Joekey V. Frazier, formerly in the service of D. T. Morris, died last night in a local hospital after an operation for appendicitis. The boys home was in Lexington, where his body was shipped this uioru lug. There is a possibility that Jeff Bernstein will be an absentee in the Latonia Derby preliminary trial to Ik- run here next week, on account of an injury in his last start. It may also keep him from starting in the Estonia Derby.
