Lothario, off forwardly. but shuffled back in the first furlong, was taken to the outside and. moving up with a rush after entering the homestretch, drew away into an easy lead. Good Intent showed much early speed. but was used up In racing Lucetta into defeat and driving hard at the end to stall off Dress Parade II. The latter closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Calypte is a good looker, but ran very green. Pimlico. an extra good looker. Is said to be the best of Clydes youngsters. Scratched— 81400 Lillie Hoy. 107. Overweights — Calypte. 1 pound. Hill Top closed a big gap after rough usage in the early running. Statesman broke down in the homestretch and. stumbling at the sixteenth post, lost his rider and pulled up on three logs.
