Laveno was away forwardly and followed Eva Tangtiay close up to the stretch turn, then dashed Into the lead when straightened out. hut had to stand a hard drive to stall off Salian. The latter, knocked beck on the tirst turn, had to go wide, but finished with a rush and. with a clear course, would hae won. .lack Straw, also suffering from early interference, came fast when having a clear course. Eva Tangnay showed the most speed for a half mile and tired badly. Slewfoot failed to get into Ids full stride in the early running and tired badly in the last furlong. Tim Kelly showed the most spi-ed for a half, but tired in the heavy going. Rallied quit in the stretch. Little Siss was knocked back after going a quarter and. after moving up gamely in the stretch, tired in the last furlong. Tom Holland closed a big gap from a poor beginning. Martine IL. away fast, showed the most siloed for three furlongs, but tired near the end. Fulfill, a good filly, ran green, but closed a big gap after going a furlong and finished faster than the leaders. Kiddy Lee moved up fast in the stretch. Bauives had no mishaps.
