SUCCESS AT SALT LAKE ASSURED. Salt Lake City, Itali.. May 31.— The Decoration day crowd at the fair grounds numbered about S.iHiu. a little larger than that of the opening day. The day aras ideal for racing purposes and tin- townslolk turned out generously. The sport Is gradually win ning its way sad the daily patronage is on the in crease. The draw-in today saw- fifteen books in line, besides two field bosks. The meeting already is an assured success ami will be followed in the fall by tweniv days of racing in conjunction with fair week, which comes in October. The belting was brisk and the layers were kept busy all afternoon.
