AMERICANS BEATEN AT ST. CLOUD. Paris. May 31. — Aimrican horses competed in five races at St. Cloud t his- afternoon, but not one gol first money. in the Ilix VerlKiise. 11. B. Doxyeas Rose Noble was second. W. K. Vanderbilts Chandos ran in the lrix Klying Pox, but failed to get a place, and his Kaniapo did not do auv liotter in the Brix Vieux lont. T. P. Thomes Alby ran in the Irintenips Handicap, but did not show. In the lrix Bu - Mr. Thomes Kleurie got third place. Mr. Pa*. years liancc ran in this eveat, but was uupiaced.
