MACKEY SHIPMENT TO BUENOS AYRES. Lexington. Ky.. June 2. — Kinley Mack. First Water. Reliable. Mimic and Toddlngton are among the stallious that J. B. Haggin is shipping to the Argentine Republic to tie sold on arrival at Buenos Ayres. Besities the stallions, the shipment consists of thirty-seven broodmares and eighty-seven yearlings. Toddington and Mimic are English horses Imparted several years ago for service at Mr. Haggins recently abandoned Rancho del Paso Stud in California, The others are American-bred. Kinley Mack, a son of Islington and Sougstress. won the Brooklyn and Suburban Handicaps and the Autumn Cup of 1900. He was the best race horse of his time and has sent Kinleydale. Bouquet and Statesman to the races since his retirement to the stud. Reliable ami First Water are sons of Watercress. They were bred at Rancho del Paso and Reliable was a tine weight-carrying sprinter in his time. First Water, from the Hanover mare. Sweet, was a capital two-year old. He won the Juvenile Stakes at Belmont Park, but broke down shortly afterward. There are some yearlings by First Water at Elmen-dorf that are good lookers. John Mackey predicts that First Water will make a great reputation in the Argentine Republic. Mr. Ilaggln has found the Argentine market a good one. He sold McChesney and Dieudonne at Buenos Ayres last year with a band of mares and yearlings for excellent prices.
