Ellicott ran on the outside of Hie leaders all the way and pulled up very lame. Siskin, as usual, began slowly and was on the outside for the entire trip and went very wide when entering the homestretch. Ontario and Reldnioore tired. The latter swerved at all of his jumps and repeatedly lost ground. Byzantine Was driving hard at the end to stall off Pagan Bey. The latter closed a big gap. The latter ran under restraint for the first five furlongs and finished fast. King Holladay closed a big gap from a slow beginning and is a good looker. The winner was entered for 1909.sh00; no bid.
