"FATHER BILL" DALY AGAIN IN TROUBLE. New York. June 2.— William C. Dalv. better known in racing circles as "Father Bill" Daly, was a prisoner today in the Coney Island police court on ■ charge of assault. He stood before Magistrate orlues and listened to one of his stable boys. The lx»y said that as a result of the spanking he was ill for several days. "Father Bill" produced a small twig of a tree. wlib-li. he said he carried at the time the boy sa he was assaulted. He deeded that he used a cane on the complainant. Magistrate Voornees was. however, inclined to believe the boys story, so he held "Father Bill" in 00 bail for Special Ses siolis.
