The first-mentioned trio are tlw actual top weights of tlie raie. though none of them has started 011 the Kngllsh turf. The 119 allotted Sir Martin is considered an extremely heavy burden. The highest weight ever before carried by a winning three-year-eld in the Ho.val Hunt Cup was 108 pounds, with which Suspender won in ls.r2.
