Faunt-loroy ran In forward and persistent pursuit of the pacemakers and drew out decisively midway of the stretch. Helen Carroll, after being reserved in nearest attendance on the pacemaker to the stretch, suc-cumled in the closing drive. Zacatecas outbroke and outpaced the others to the stretch and tired badly, as usual, in the closing drive. Calash, from an inside slow start, closed up in close quarters in the deep going, but tired finally and was unlucky. Madeline L.. well up to the stretch, quit unexpectedly. Eschau, well up from the start, journeyed in the deep inside going and seemed anchored at a critical point cm the far turn, but closed up like a shot in the stretch and just failed to get up. Yankee Daughter, excessively urged In the middle running to overhaul the pacemaker, quit badly under a drive. Joe Rose showed brief sjeed in the first half and retired suddenly to the rear. Colloquy outbroke and outpaced the others early, but tired in the closing drive. PantouBe ran in prominent contention throughout, but tired when appearing very promising in the final sixteenth. Bad News ran well up throughout, is promising over a longer distance and is good. Our Maggie ran an extra good race for her. Radium Star ran In Inside striking distance pursuit and was crowded back on the last turn, but finished well. Zephyr, after prominent attendance early, failed to stay. Lord Stanhope ran forwardly for six furlongs and quit" badly in the stretch. Albert Star was going well at the end. Acrobat seemed unable to raise a respectable gallop. Sea Wolf showed esrly speed.
