Little Osage showed much speed and forced or set a fast pace for five furlongs and stayed well in the final drive. Dr. Waldo Briggs was forced to go wide most of the way and was sharply impeded when Centre Shot was .taken, back. The latter bled after going a fast three furlongs. Steel showed superior speed for three-quarters and stayed well in the final drive, but was not good enough. Orlandot had.to: overcome Interference in the first half and closed a big gap in the stretch. Cruche dOr showed speed, but tired in the last quarter. Belle Scott ran well for three-quarters. Green Seal showed great speed In pacemaklng for the entire trip and tired in the last sixteenth, but finished gamely. Grania began slowly and was forced wide on the last two turns, but finished with a rush and got up in the last stride for third place. Creel was prominent throughout and a close iqi and fast going fourth. Old Honesty was repeatedly cut off and unlucky. Meadow ran well to the stretch and tired under a bad ride.
